Flint Town United History
Flint Town United is one of Wales's most traditional and popular football clubs. Founded in 1886 in Y Fflint / Flint, Flintshire, the club plays its home matches at the historic Essity Stadium and competes in the Cymru Premier. Known as The Silkmen, it has built over a century of rich history — trophies, iconic players, and unforgettable moments. Its passionate fanbase, one of the most devoted in the country, maintains one of the fiercest local rivalries with Connah's Quay Nomads. Currently managed by L. Fowler, Flint Town United continues to write new chapters in its century-old story.
